The right people can make all the difference

Our team of engineers is deeply technical and highly experienced. We get deep under the hood and onto the front line of building performance. We like to spend our time in the mechanical rooms improving building performance, not board rooms talking about it.

TERRY HERR

President

Terry founded Intellimation in 1995, since then the Building Automation field has evolved greatly and Terry continues to be at the forefront of innovation and progress. He is an expert on integration, metering, and user interfaces and is very passionate about Automated Fault Detection and Diagnosis (AFDD) and Building Analytics. As mentioned elsewhere Terry is a Master Electrician and also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics.

JESSE SCHWAKOFF, CEM

Energy Engineer & Principal

Jesse earned a Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Energy and Mechanical Systems from Drexel University in Philadelphia. He also worked with a research team developing Automated Fault Detection and Diagnosis (AFDD) software. Jesse is an accomplished programmer in Siemens, Delta, and Johnson Controls systems and he is extremely motivated to improve the energy efficiency and overall effectiveness of customer buildings

NIGEL HERR

Interface Engineer (Application UI/UX)

Nigel brings previous experience in the design of both physical and digital products to Intellimation's wide variety of customers. With that background in design Nigel spearheads Intellimation's BAS (Building Automation System) interfaces. He focuses on the customer's needs and he produces streamlined interfaces to enhance the complete user experience.

CESAR MUNOZ

Integration Engineer

Cesar has a Bachelor's Degree in Mechatronic Engineering. His uses his previous work as a quality control engineer and management of multiple technical projects to serve Intellimation's customers very well. With a vast knowledge of engineering ranging from manufacturing processes to programming microcontrollers Cesar brings a unique blend of talents and perspective to helping customers meet their goals.

VIRAJ GAVHANE

Industrial Engineer

Viraj holds a Masters of Industrial Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology. He has been working with building automation since 2013. He has worked on everything from hardware installation to programming controllers to developing user interface graphics.

ERIC SMITH

Controls Engineer

Eric has a wide background in mechanical systems and holds a certificate as a HVAC Specialist. He has wide and deep experience with mechanical building systems after holding titles ranging from HVAC technician to building engineer. Eric has hands-on experience with HVAC and a knack for identifying inefficiencies in mechanical systems and processes which he applies to customer facilities every day.

William Macomber

Building Automation Engineer

Will has 10 years of automation experience in the building, industrial, and weapons automation fields, and five years of project management experience across the industrial and building automation fields. He holds a BS in Computer Science from Saint Leo University and is passionate about the use of machine learning in the fields of finance, medicine, building automation, and energy efficiency.

MATT GELNETT, PE, CEM

Mechanical / Controls Engineer & Principal

Matt holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Temple University. He is an expert in metering, using his skills in hardware and software integration to achieve good, reliable and consistent meter readings. He is also a seasoned Building Automation System (BAS) programmer with a keen eye for identifying inefficiencies and potential problems. Like others at Intellimation Matt is very well versed in BACnet protocols, packet transmission across routers (BBMD devices) and potential interactions between systems and vendors.

Seth Myers

Project Manager & Principal of DC

A journeyman electrician by trade, Seth has been engaged in hands on work with electrical/electronic systems since 2010. After a few years as a production facility electrician, he took his knowledge of complex circuitry, relay logic, and PLC programming to the BAS world. He works daily with our clients to improve building function and optimize energy savings while keeping all communication transparent and informative.

ANDREW HOLDEN

Senior Energy Engineer

Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Physics and Electronics, and a Master's Degree in Information Systems. He is a licensed Professional Engineer (Pennsylvania), a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a LEED Accredited Professional. With over 33 years continuous and highly varied experience in the energy engineering field he brings a great depth of knowledge to our customers and helps them meet their challenges and goals.

SID STEINHAUER

Applications Engineer

Besides his extremely deep building systems knowledge, and many years of experience in mechanical systems service, Sid is also a very good programmer. He may be one of the original geeks... Tridium AX certified, CEM (Certified Energy Manager) and CEA (Certified Energy Auditor) credentials from the Association of Energy Engineers.

ANDREW REIDER

Mechanical Engineer

Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. He programs Building Automation Systems in their native languages, and Andrew is also our Python programming expert.

SAMUEL AYISI

Data Analytics

Samuel is passionate about data analytics and is our SQL expert. With his background in finance analytics, he helps us take the massive amount of building data we capture and convert it into powerful, dynamic charts that help operators better understand their buildings.
